Terms of Use

The Fifty is run by CropClickCanvas. By using the site you agree to these terms. They're short, and written to be read.

1. The service

The Fifty is a public weekly board with 50 spots for things people shipped. Every board resets on Monday at 00:00 IST, and past boards stay up as an archive. Browsing is free and needs no account. Posting needs a Google sign-in and is free.

2. Who can post

You must be 18 or older. You're responsible for what's posted from your account, and you must not use someone else's account.

3. What you can post

  • Something you (or your team) built, and have the right to share.
  • The link must go to the thing itself: not a profile page, not a link back to this site.
  • One entry per person per week.
  • Not allowed: crypto tokens, MLM, dropshipping, course-selling, anything illegal, deceptive, hateful, sexual or harmful, malware, impersonation, and anything that infringes someone else's rights.

We review posts before they go live, and we can decline, edit for format, or remove any post that breaks these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to show it on the site, in the archive, on share cards and badges, and in posts that promote the board (for example on LinkedIn or X), and to make small format changes so it fits. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time; copies already shared elsewhere may remain.

5. Entries we add and claim links

We may add public projects to a board and send the maker a one-time claim link. A claim link is personal: don't share it. If you claim an entry that isn't yours, we remove it and may block the account.

6. Numbers and fair play

Views and opens count once per browser, and 馃檶 once per signed-in person. Don't try to inflate them (bots, scripts, fake or multiple accounts, paying for clicks). We may remove entries or accounts that do. We don't promise any number of views, opens or results.

7. Sponsors

Each week has at most one sponsored banner, always labelled "Sponsored". Sponsors never change the board order or the leaderboard. A sponsorship is agreed by email, with price and dates confirmed in writing before anything is charged. We can decline any sponsor.

8. Links to other sites

Projects link to sites we don't control. Open them at your own judgement: we aren't responsible for their content, safety or privacy practices.

9. No warranty, and limits

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from other people's projects or sites. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

10. Changes, ending, and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. We may suspend accounts that break them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the competent courts in India.
